Your video brought tears to my eyes, tears of joy! Its wonderful to see people in other corners of the world also moving passionately in supporting the rights of people with disabilities and the elderly, highlighting equality and respect towards all human beings regardless of our differences. Keep doing what you are doing, if I was in Costa Rica you would also have my vote. However from Australia I send you my support.

Tu vídeo trajo lágrimas a mis ojos, lágrimas de alegría! Es maravilloso ver a gente en otros rincones del mundo que también se mueve con pasión en el apoyo a los derechos de las personas con discapacidad y los ancianos, haciendo hincapié en la igualdad y el respeto hacia todos los seres humanos. Sigue haciendo lo que estás haciendo, sigue sembrando, si estubiera en Costa Rica tu también tendrías mi voto. Sin embargo desde Australia les envío mi apoyo.

En Australia tenemos un slogan que dice

DON'T DIS my Ability    o

DISABILITY

In Australia we have a catch phrase Don't DIS my Ability or DISABILITY.  The reason behind this, is for us to notice the ability of the person rather than going straight for the disability. Having a disability does not mean that the person can not do things it only means that the person is able to do things differently or lets think for a minute, is it that we are the ones doing things differently?

En Australia tenemos una frase "No DIS mi capacidad" o "incapacidad". La razón detrás de esto es para que nosotros notemos la capacidad de la persona en lugar de ir directamente a la discapacidad. Tener una discapacidad no significa que la persona no puede hacer cosas, sólo significa que la persona es capaz de hacer las cosas de otra manera o si por un momento reflejamos en esto,  estaremos nosotros haciendo las cosas de otra manera diferente?
